RHYTHM CHANGES is: Anthony Aguirre--Drums; Matt Fauteux--Guitar Rod Goelz--Bass; John Caley--Alto Sax

RHYTHM CHANGES grew up from the halls of York College, in York Pennsylvania. We're described as ACID JAZZ, but we have a love for all improvisational styles of music: traditional jazz, "old school" funk, blues, reggae… even rap. It's all about having a good time, listening to good music… audience participation is required. For a partial list of some of the songs we interpret click HERE.

ANTHONY AGUIRRE-(Drums) Anthony is 26 years old and has been playing drums since he was about 6. He has played in several successful bands around the York area. He spent 3 years studying jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has since been studying classical percussion at York College. In addition he has been teaching drum lessons for 7 years.

JON CALEY-(Alto Sax) Jon is from Carlisle, and is now a student at York College. Jon has been playing sax for 8 years, and was first chair all county where he received the best soloist award. John patterns himself off of the legendary alto saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderly ... and frankly, we're not sure why he's playing with us (we don't do that much "Cannonball")... but we're glad he IS!!!!!

MATT FAUTEUX-(Guitar) Matt comes from Newtown, Pa. He has been playing the guitar for 10 years. He has played in all types of bands from rock, to acoustic, and jazz. In high school he went to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia to study jazz, and now studies classical guitar at York College. Matt draws from an eclectic musical styling. He not only enjoys, but has studied world music, especially that of India.

ROD GOELZ-(Electric Bass) Rod is from York, and has been playing music here for close to 25 years. Since 1989, Rod has taught music (bass and guitar specifically) to thousands of area musicians. He now teaches at Campbell's Music. Rod attended Berklee College of Music for their jazz program, and received his degree from Millersville University. Rod plays all styles of music with several different bands. His great timing and exceptional improvisational skills set him apart from most bass players.
