QUICKSTART BASS
This 8 week course was designed for the beginning student who wants to start playing the electric bass and have fun from the start. This is the perfect primer to start long term musical study. The goal for this course is to have the student able to play complete songs. Reading on the bass--scale diagrams, tab, and standard notation will also be discussed... finger-style, pick-style, and slap bass styles introduced; basic line and style approaches, and much, much more!!!

Rod Goelz will be your instructor for both of these classes. Rod has been teaching private and group lessons in the York and Lancaster for 15 years. As a musician, he's played guitar, electric bass and mandolin with with many area acts. Currently he plays bass with the band Groove Jones .
