Quentin Jones

Quentin Jones is an accomplished performer with experience at entertaining audiences of all sizes. He was a member of the popular duo, The Rockabilly Brothers, who specialized in performing at small venues. Quentin Jones has worked with some of the top names in the music business.

His band The R.A.R.C., released three critically acclaimed CD's that were distributed world wide, and received air play and notice from major publications and radio stations. The "Clowns" were a very popular band that played the East Coast club circuit. Lee Rocker, formerly of The Stray Cats produced their third CD, "Circuit Rider".

Quentin is a partner in one of central Pa's most popular recording studios, Sound Cage Studio. He works with bands helping them to record and promote their music.

As one of the founders of Llist Records, Quentin was responsible for the release of CDs from such notable artists as, Nick Kane, from the Grammy award wining band, The Mavericks, as well as Tommy Conwell, and rock great Robert Gordon, who's 1996 CD Quentin played lead guitar on.

At the start of 2000, Quentin and his wife Christine started a new label called Lanark Records. Quentin is currently producing and playing bass and guitar on a project with one of rock and rolls founding fathers, Charlie Gracie. Charlie is best known for his late fifties hits and for influencing the artists of the sixties. Paul McCartney covered one of Charlie's hits, "Fabulous" on his last project, and George Harrison and Eric Clapton have both sighted Charlie as an influence. One of the highlights of this new CD is a track that Graham Nash of C.S.N. has contributed to vocally. This disc will be released in early
2001.

Quentin's other producer credits include, Tommy Conwell, and Nothing but Oregano.

Quentin is a member of Charlie's touring band. Recently, Quentin played in Charlie's group while touring the west cost opening for rock great, Van Morrison.

2001 saw the start of a new live project called "The Quentin Jones Rock & Roll Review", as well as the start of a joint solo CD with Dave Ferrara, a member of The R.A.R.C. rand a freelance drummer who plays with such artists as, The Temptations, Freddie "Boom Boom" Canon, Tommy Roe, Peter Noon, and Jay and the Techniques. This as yet unnamed project is currently in production. Quentin also has plans to start a skiffel band and a new recording project from the "Clowns."
