CAGED INVERSIONS

Each of the 5 open chords can be made into movable barre chords. . .  the most popular being the E & A Forms.  The CAGED order of chords represents the 5 basic inversions of each chord.  Play each of the following chords with the root (lowest)  finger on a D note. . . these are the five ways to play a major chord. . .  UP AND DOWN THE FINGERBOARD (starting on a second position D Major Chord; ending with a 12th position D Major Chord.
