WELCOME TO THE
BOOM POP COALITION PAGE...
...established in memory of the
The BPC were a high -energy good-time-funky-jam-style band. The music they brought forth made people feel good about living... explorations loyal to ALL musical nations under the groove (Funk, Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Ska, etc.) for all who'll listen and celebrate. Their influences ranged from Herbie Hancock and Grover Washington to the Grateful Dead and Jimi Hendrix... with heavy portions of Miles Davis, P-Funk, Bob Marley, James Brown, Sly Stone...
As many bands do, they broke up for no good reason. So... if you haven't heard the BPC live, chances are you won't.
BUT... with the help of Internet Explorer,
you can now listen to the BPC in all their glory. The track is called "Jammin'"
It was entirely improvised.
ENJOY!!!
